Researchers Receive RS6 Student Paper

Richards, Lauren Viscito, Dr.
Adam Ross, and Prof.
Daniel Hastings of ESD’s
Systems Engineering Advancement Research
Initiative (SEAri),
was selected as the recipient of this
year’s Responsive
Space Conference Student Award
at the April 28 – May 1 conference
in Los Angeles, CA.
The paper, entitled “Distinguishing
Attributes for the Operationally Responsive
Space Paradigm,” introduces
a methodology for evaluating small,
tactical spacecraft vis-à-vis
“big space” approaches
for a notional intelligence, surveillance,
and reconnaissance mission.
