AgeLab Director Joe Coughlin

named Hero in Home HealthCare

Agelab Director Joseph F. Coughlin, Ph.D, was named a Hero in Home Healthcare Innovation by the Visiting Nurse Association. The award is in recognition of his work in envisioning how information systems can be used to improve the delivery of care and quality of life of older people living independently.

Dr. Coughlin is a Senior Lecturer in Engineering Systems where he teaches ESD 69 "Health Systems Innovation" with ESD's Stanley Finklestein, MD.
