Infrastructure Systems Seminar

weekly seminar, held on Mondays through October
25, 2004, will be closely related to the preparation
of the NSF Engineering Research Center proposal,
due in November.
Both
the NSF proposal and the seminar are next step
initiatives following the Engineering Systems
Symposium. We will explore common methodologies,
approaches, and frameworks for the planning,
design, and operation of network-based infrastructure
systems. The focus will be on four infrastructure
systems: air transport, ground transport, electric
power, and communications.
