Submission
deadline for pre-proposals for BP-MIT
Research Program:
August 4, 2008
July
2, 2008
MIT
and BP have signed a research agreement
to conduct research relevant to major
projects in the oil, gas, renewable
energy, chemicals and related energy
industries.
While
major projects are a very broad domain,
the BP-MIT
research program seeks proposals
that employ integrative, multidisciplinary
approaches to address the complex,
multifaceted challenges in the selection,
design, development and delivery of
major projects, or address specific
technologies and methodologies related
to projects.
In 2008,
the research program will also consider
proposals focused on operations-related
research that will improve BP's business
delivery.
As has
been the case since 2005, there will
be one proposal review
cycle in 2008. Proposals between $50K
and $250K (inclusive of F&A) are
being considered.
Pre-proposals
for consideration in the 2008 cycle
must be submitted electronically no
later than 5:00 PM on Monday August
4, 2008. Please use the BP-MIT
cover sheet.
