About
the Lecture:
Professor Sheffi will examine the challenges for leadership
education in MIT's School of Engineering. He will call for
separating the education of experts (the "geeks")
from that of leaders (the "chiefs"), and the creation
of a special School of Engineering-wide leadership curriculum
that emphasizes organizations and process design, in addition
to scientific background and product design.
