Weigel elected AIAA Associate Fellow

Annalisa Weigel, Jerome C. Hunsacker Assistant Professor of Aeronautics and Astronautics and Engineering Systems, was recently elected an Associate Fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA).

The AIAA Associate Fellow designation is given to “individuals who have accomplished or been in charge of important engineering or scientific work … or have done original work of outstanding merit … or have otherwise made outstanding contributions to the arts, sciences, or technology of aeronautics or astronautics”.

Annalisa and other newly-elected Associate Fellows will be honored at the Associate Fellows dinner held in conjunction with the Aerospace Sciences Conference in January 2008.
