February
8, 2007
Known
to millions of television viewers as the winner of NBC’s
The Apprentice, Season 4, LFM '98 Randal Pinkett
is also the founder and CEO of BCT Partners, a multi-million
dollar technology business that he started as an undergraduate
at Rutgers University.
In The
Campus CEO: The Student Entrepreneur’s Guide to Launching
a Multi-Million-Dollar Business (Kaplan Publishing, February
2007, $16.95, paperback), Pinkett shares his story of success,
inspiring students to take the entrepreneurial leap and showing
them what it takes to start and run a profitable campus-based
business.
Find out
why you don’t have to wait until after graduation to
find a career and still excel in the classroom. Over 40 percent
of all undergraduate students are enrolled in school on a
part-time basis, primarily because they need to work to help
fund the ever-rising costs of their education. Pinkett shows
these students how to create businesses that will help defray
the costs of their educations and continue to flourish long
after graduation.
Readers
will learn how to:
- Develop
a successful business plan, secure funding, maintain a healthy
balance between work and school, and manage a successful
endeavor
- Find
the many perks for entrepreneurs hidden away on college
campuses
- How
to achieve both entrepreneurial and academic success
