Castle Hotel gets Top Prize in the
Pride of Northumbria Awards

For
the second time within two years,
Langley
Castle Hotel, owned by ESD Professor
Stuart Madnick, has received the annual
"Pride of Northumbria" Award
for Best Small Hotel of the Year.
This honor places Langley Hotel in
the National Finals, which will be
judged in April of 2005.
Langley
Castle previously won this award in
2002.
In addition, the Castle recently earned
a White Ribbon Award from the Royal
Automobile Club of the United Kingdom
and has garnered other accolades as
well for its high standards of hospitality,
cuisine, service, and comfort.
Langley
Castle is a 14th-century structure
located in Northumberland, England.
It was purchased in 1985 by Professor
Madnick, who converted it from a private
home into a hotel following extensive
renovations.The Castle offers eight
individually furnished en suite bedrooms
as well as additional rooms on the
grounds. The hotel is one of the region's
most popular locations for weddings.

a special discount.
