of Engineering faculty members who
are being proposed for promotion to
associate professor without tenure.

the recipient as part of its promotion
deliberations. The award includes
a prize of $3,000.
“Dan
Frey is an outstanding educator,”
said Daniel Hastings, Dean of MIT
