Policy agenda setting, problem definition, framing the terms of debate, analysis of options, implementation and evaluation of policy outcomes. Framework and models from economics, law, business and management, cost/benefit analysis, probabilistic risk assessment, and system dynamics.

Team-taught for doctoral students working on emerging technologies at the interface of technology, policy and societal issues. Integrates concepts of research strategy and design from a variety of disciplines.

  Students will present their doctoral research projects in Engineering Systems and Technology, Management and Policy, in various locations on the 2nd floor of E40.
