LFM-SDM
Web Conference
Flexible
Manufacturing Summit
This
Summit (along with the December 6th
Lean
in Product Development Summit)
are outgrowths of this September's
Industry Faculty Research Forum held
at MIT to facilitate matching faculty
research interests with key company
challenges. The goal of the Forum
was to bring together faculty and
industry for closer linkage in their
research and collaboration with the
expectation that we will see LFM internship
projects and SDM thesis projects with
greater impact for all stakeholders.
These summit sessions will focus on
topics that were generated at the
Forum in two key areas of Lean in
Product Development and Flexible Manufacturing.
Alumni interested in these topics
are welcome to join in the upcoming
web casts. This would be particularly
helpful if you plan to be an advisor/sponsor
in an upcoming project.
The
LFM Alumni Council meeting is open
to all LFM Alumni. Meetings are held
once a month in the effort to understand
the needs of the alumni. Key Initiatives
are discussed each month, and there
is always time to bring up new issues
important to the alumni community.
To
Attend, you must RSVP to Alison
McCaffree.
